2nd Birth Equity Town Hall - Nov. 7, 2024 at 2 PM: Improving Maternal Health in Our Community

With Maternal Health Disparities and Birth Equity being a leading issue nationally and within our County, we will hold our second free Birth Equity Improvement Project—Pushing The Needle Further Town Hall on Thursday, November 7th, from 2 to 5 PM at the Westchester County Center, 198 Central Avenue, White Plains, NY. This is an opportunity to learn about the unique challenges women of color face in maternal healthcare and connect with experts advocating for safer, more equitable care. Your voice and experiences are essential to shaping solutions that prioritize and protect the health of women and babies.

Westchester Medical Center Health Network, Phelps Hospital Northwell Health and St. John's Riverside Hospital as well as our Department of Health all presented at the first one held in March. This time we are thankful to have White Plains Hospital, NY-Presbyterian Westchester, NY-Presbyterian Hudson Valley and the New York State Department of Health present on Nov. 7th along with our many community resource partners.

Free parking and light refreshments  |  Free raffles/giveaways  |  Please register/RSVP
