Frustrated residents assembled to express their anger over Con Edison's soaring delivery charges during the Westchester County Board of Legislators' fifth Con Edison Public Input Session held at Rye Brook Village Hall Tuesday night.

Westchester County Legislator Nancy E. Barr (D- Harrison, Rye Brook, Port Chester) delivered $125,000 in funding to LUCA to expand its Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Boot Camps and Information Sessions. Legislator Barr was joined by her colleagueLegislator Erika L. Pierce (D- Bedford, Lewisboro, Mount Kisco, North Salem, Pound Ridge, Somers) at the “big check” presentation today.

The Westchester County Board of Legislators passed a series of measures Monday night to preserve historic landmarks, upgrade aging infrastructure and expand clean transportation access across the County.

Westchester County Legislator Erika L. Pierce (D- Bedford, Lewisboro, Mount Kisco, North Salem, Pound Ridge, Somers) presented $20,000 in funding to The Mount Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry to aid in the fight against local food insecurity. Pierce delivered a “big check” earlier this month on behalf of the Board of Legislators, which remains committed to fighting food insufficiency throughout the County.
