The mission of the Committee on Rules is to review, revise and oversee the implementation of the rules, policies and procedures of the Board of Legislators and to further professionalize, streamline and increase the productivity of the Board’s Officers and Employees and Committees. Specific tasks may include:

Reviewing Blue Sheet time restrictions;
Defining Procedural Powers of Committees with respect to amending legislation, receiving and filing in Committee and tabling;
Clarifying the 90-day rule and defining action for a cover sheet item
Standardizing format and revising procedures for publishing minutes
Developing an “Employee Handbook”
