The Westchester County Board of Legislators passed a series of measures Monday night to preserve historic landmarks, upgrade aging infrastructure and expand clean transportation access across the County.

Westchester County Legislator Erika L. Pierce (D- Bedford, Lewisboro, Mount Kisco, North Salem, Pound Ridge, Somers) presented $20,000 in funding to The Mount Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry to aid in the fight against local food insecurity. Pierce delivered a “big check” earlier this month on behalf of the Board of Legislators, which remains committed to fighting food insufficiency throughout the County.

Frustrated residents gathered last night to voice their outrage over Con Edison's skyrocketing delivery rates at the Westchester County Board of Legislators' fourth Con Edison Public Input Session. The meeting, held at the New Rochelle YMCA, was the latest chapter in the Board's countywide effort to amplify community concerns about the company’s pricing practices.
