White Plains, NY —  We, the undersigned members of the Westchester County Board of Legislators, watched in anger, horror, and sadness on Wednesday, as an insurrectionist mob attempted, through violence and terror, to overturn a free and fair election and disrupt the centuries-old rule of law that defines our way of government through the consent of the governed.

2021 Operating, Capital & Special District Budgets Passed

White Plains, NY —  On Monday, the Board of Legislators unanimously approved the 2021 operating budget for Westchester that reduces the County tax levy and lowers overall spending while preserving essential services. The Board also unanimously adopted 2021 County capital and special district budgets.

Board Approves Ambulance Deal with Medical Center for Valhalla Campus

White Plains, NY —  On Tuesday, the Board of Legislators unanimously approved a new agreement with the Westchester County Health Care Corporation, owner of the Westchester Medical Center, to provide ambulance services to five nearby facilities on the County's Valhalla campus, including the 149-bed Volunteers of America Grasslands Homeless Shelter.
