Members of the Westchester County Board of Legislators attended The Business Council of Westchester’s (BCW) Annual Legislative Reception at the Cambria Hotel in White Plains yesterday, engaging in substantive discussions with county business leaders on key economic issues.

The Westchester County Board of Legislators celebrated LGBTQ+ Pride Month on Monday night with a ceremony honoring two remarkable individuals:  Judy Troilo, LGBTQ+ community leader, housing pioneer and former Executive Director of The LOFT, and Justin Wingenroth, Founder of the Dance Conservatory, and champion of inclusive arts education.

Tonight, the Westchester County Board of Legislators passed legislation that grants the County Attorney authorization to explore legal actions in response to the erroneous inclusion of Westchester County on a “sanctuary municipalities” list that threatens the county's federal funding.
