(WHITE PLAINS, NY) Today, Members of the Board of Legislators Committee on Public Safety & Social Services, chaired by Legislator Ben Boykin (D-White Plains), discussed refugee resettlement efforts with representatives from the Westchester County Refugee Task Force, Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, Catholic Charities, and the Scarsdale High School Students for Refugees Club.

Legislator David Tubiolo (R-Mount Vernon & Yonkers) hosted his ‘Senior Movie Matinee’ trip to the movies for seniors. This was his 3rd trip he hosted for the senior community.   

Westchester County hosted its 49th Annual ‘Salute to Seniors’ this past month at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, NY. The free event for seniors and caregivers included a business expo with more than 90 vendors, a health & wellness fair, live entertainment, dancing and more.

He has once again made known his intent to use taxpayer funded resources – without Board of Legislators Approval – for a frivolous lawsuit he knows we can’t win. The surrounding communities are better served by bringing all sides together to work on real economic and environmental mitigation solutions; and that is what Democrats are focused on.”
