(WHITE PLAINS, NY) At a joint meeting today of the Committees on Energy & Regional Efficiencies, Public Safety & Social Services,  and Infrastructure, legislators met to discuss a draft shared services plan put forth by the Astorino Administration, as part of Governor Cuomo’s call for county governments to find places to save taxpayer money.

At a recent meeting of the Westchester County Board of Legislators (BOL), Legislator David Tubiolo (Yonkers & Mt. Vernon), Chair of the Committee on Seniors & Constituencies, successfully led his colleagues to vote in favor of purchasing 25 new vehicles to support the County’s Para-Transit program.

(WHITE PLAINS, NY) In a sign of support for Westchester’s immigrant community, the Immigrant Protection Act, an Act introduced by Majority Leader Catherine Borgia & 7 Democratic Legislators in February, passed with a bi-partisan vote of 10-5.
