The Westchester County Board of Legislators hosted a special bipartisan “Committee of the Whole” meeting with federal lawmakers to discuss congressional updates and topics of local interest. U.S. Representatives George Latimer (D) and Mike Lawler (R) participated, joined by staffers from Senators Chuck Schumer (D) and Kirsten Gillibrand’s (D) offices.

The 90-minute session covered a broad array of issues, as Board Chairman Vedat Gashi (D- New Castle, Ossining, Somers, Yorktown) facilitated a discussion attended by all 17 County legislators.
