White Plains, NY — On Monday night, the Westchester County Board of Legislators hosted its annual Italian-American Heritage Celebration, honoring Robert Caluori, CFO of the Westchester Library System and Louis Picani, labor leader and Vice President of the Westchester-Putnam Central Labor Body (WPCLB).

The Minority Leader of the Board Margaret A. Cunzio (C- North Castle, Mount Pleasant, Pleasantville, Sleepy Hollow, Harrison) had the distinct pleasure of presenting the first proclamation to Robert Caluori praising his dedicated service to Westchester County. The Board declared October 22, 2024 “Robert Caluori Day” in Westchester County.

Chair of the Board of Legislators Vedat Gashi (D- Ossining, New Castle, Somers Yorktown) presented the second proclamation to Louis Picani, and praised him for his life of achievements and work as a labor leader and for the people of Westchester County. The Board declared October 24, 2024 “Louis Picani Day” in Westchester County.
