White Plains, NY — In proclaiming September 15 through October 15 as Hispanic-American Heritage Month in Westchester County, the Board of Legislators will celebrate the outstanding contributions of individuals within the community at our Monday, September 16, 2019 Board Meeting at 6:30 p.m.
This year the Board will honor:
- Sally Ocasio-Pinto, Interim Director of Jewish Council of Yonkers-Westchester Community Partners (JCY-WCP), a division of Family Service Society of Yonkers (FSSY)
- Carmenza “Carry” Cubillos, Cultural Programming Specialist of the Ossining Public Library
Mariachi Juvenil Los Tigres, White Plains High School Mariachi will perform in the festivities.
