With a quorum present, the Committee on Public Works, Transportation, Labor & Parks was called to order at 3:49 pm.

ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION:

PWTLP #84
Item 84 is an act authorizing the County to grant a perpetual easement to the City of Yonkers for the operation and maintenance of a sewer main on lands of Westchester County south of McLean Avenue in the City of Yonkers.

Commissioner Sal Carrera stated that there are 8 condominiums on the site. He went on to say that this act is transferring the responsibility for the property to the City of Yonkers.

(Stewart-Cousins, Alvarado) move the act authorizing the County to grant a perpetual easement to the City of Yonkers for the operation and maintenance of a sewer main on lands of Westchester County south of McLean Avenue in the City of Yonkers. Motion passed 5-0.

PWTLP #80
Item 80 is an Act authorizing the County to apply for and accept Federal and State funds for the study of pedestrian circulation and transit access improvements in the vicinity of the Pleasantville Railroad station and to enter into an IMA with the Village of Pleasantville to provide for the acceptance of those funds.

Commissioner Salley indicated that this study would produce no cost to the county. The County would merely become the recipient of Federal funds.

(Swanson, Pinto) move the proposed Act authorizing the County to apply for and accept Federal and State funds for the study of pedestrian circulation and transit access improvements in the vicinity of the Pleasantville Railroad station and to enter into an IMA with the Village of Pleasantville to provide for the acceptance of those funds. Motion passed 5-0.

RECEIVE & FILE:

DPW Machinery & Equipment: Itemized list of all machinery and equipment under the jurisdiction of DPW for the County road system.

(Stewart-Cousins, Pinto) move to receive & file the list of DPW machinery. Motion passed 5-0.

On a motion by Legislator Burton, seconded by Legislator Pinto, the Committee on Public Works, Transportation, Labor, & Parks adjourned at 4:03 pm.
