With a quorum present, the Committee on Public Works, Transportation, Labor & Parks was called to order at 3:36 p.m.

ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION:

PWTLP #’s 270 through 274

Commissioner of Transportation, Larry Salley announces that new equipment for Westchester County Airport with 95% federal grant funds, 2.5% state DOT funds. This 97.5% grant funding replaces what would have been a debit against the Airport Special Revenue Fund. The funding will go towards 2 aircraft de-icing vehicles, replace the ADA lift, and 2 new snow plows.

(Burton, Swanson) move the following:

• Proposed Act authorizing the County to enter into grant agreements with the USA, acting through the FAA, and the State of New York, acting by and through its DOT for A056B Heavy Equipment Acquisition.
• Proposed Act amending the County 2007 Capital Budget by increasing the appropriations for Capital Project A056B heavy Equipment Acquisition.
• Proposed Act authorizing the County to enter into grant agreements with the USA, acting through the FAA, and the State of New York, acting by and through its DOT for A054A Rehabilitation of Various Taxiways.
• Proposed Act authorizing the County to enter into grant agreements with the USA, acting through the FAA, and the State of New York, acting by and through its DOT for A0080 Resurface Terminal Road Network.
• Proposed Act authorizing the County to enter into grant agreements with the USA, acting through the FAA, and the State of New York, acting by and through its DOT for A095A Perimeter Intrusion Detection System.

Motion passed 6-0.

On a motion by Legislator Burton, seconded by Legislator Myers, the Committee on Public Works, Transportation, Labor, & Parks adjourned at 3:53 p.m.
