With a quorum present, the Committee on Public Works, Transportation, Labor & Parks was called to order at 3:35 PM.
Legislator Pinto indicated that Chairman Alvarado would be unable to attend and asked him to serve as Chair for the March 21st meeting.
SEWER DISTRICT MODIFICATIONS (letters to be sent to Administration):
PWTLP #51b
Resolution from the Town of Mount Pleasant requesting the removal of one parcel from the Saw Mill Sewer District (Hillside Avenue).
On a motion by Legislator Swanson, seconded by Legislator Burton for a letter to be sent to the Administration to be distributed to the appropriate Departments. Motion passed 4-0.

Resolution from the Town of Yorktown requesting the addition of 9 parcels of property into the Peekskill Sanitary Sewer District (Field Street, Jacob Road, Crompond Road).
PWTLP #58b
Resolution from the Town of Yorktown requesting the addition of 2 parcels of property into the Peekskill Sanitary Sewer District (Jacob Road).
PWTLP #61
Resolution from the Town of Cortlandt requesting that 1 parcel of property be returned into the Peekskill Sanitary Sewer District.
On a motion by Legislator Swanson, seconded by Legislator Burton for letters for all three resolutions be sent to the Administration to be distributed to the appropriate Departments. Motion passed 5-0.

HON. BERNICE SPRECKMAN: Tibbetts Brook Park: Constituent correspondence regarding the development and preservation of Tibbetts Brook Park.
On a motion by Legislator Swanson, seconded by Legislator Burton for the item to be received and filed. Motion passed 5-0.
ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION
Commissioner of Public Works, Ralph Butler, and Commissioner of Public Safety, Thomas Belfiore, discussed the recently installed reflector system on the Bronx River Parkway.
Legislator Pinto suggested installing in-road “cat-eye” reflectors to better mark lane boundaries.
On a motion by Legislator Burton, seconded by Legislator Myers, the Committee on Public Works, Transportation, Labor, & Parks adjourned at 4:10 pm.
