With a quorum present, the Committee on Public Works, Transportation, Labor & Parks was called to order at 12:10 pm.
PWTLP Item #24 (WCC43)
A $705,000 Bond Act to finance the design phase of upgrades to the Technical Building at the Westchester Community College. The project will include renovating underutilized spaces in the building’s lower level into classrooms, labs, seminar rooms and offices as well as renovations recommended in the College’s 199 Master Plan.
For Budget: On the motion of Legislator Abinanti seconded by Legislator Swanson, the item carried 10-0.
For Public Works: On the motion of Legislator Burton seconded by Legislator Stewart-Cousins, the item carried 5-0.
PWTLP Item #25 (WCC45)
A $204,000 Bond Act to finance the design phase of renovations and improvements to the Academic Arts Building at the Westchester Community College. The project will address ADA compliance issues, general construction work as well as HVAC, plumbing, electrical and lighting system upgrades as recommended in the College’s 199 Master Plan.
For Budget: On the motion of Legislator Abinanti seconded by Legislator Swanson, the item carried 10-0.
For Public Works: On the motion of Legislator Burton seconded by Legislator Stewart-Cousins, the item carried 5-0.

A $112,000 Bond act to finance the design phase of renovations and improvements to the Classroom Building at the Westchester Community College. The project will address ADA compliance issues, general construction work on the structure as well as HVAC, plumbing, electrical and lighting system upgrades.
For Budget: On the motion of Legislator Abinanti seconded by Legislator Swanson, the item carried 10-0.
For Public Works: On the motion of Legislator Burton seconded by Legislator Stewart-Cousins, the item carried 5-0.
