With a quorum present, the Committee on Public Works, Transportation, Labor & Parks was called to order at 3:30 p.m.
ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION:
PWTLP #263: Proposed Act authorizing the County to issue up to $600,000 in bonds to finance Capital Project BFT05 – Commercial Strip Mall/Class A Burn Building.
(Swanson, Burton) Motion to approve financing for Capital Project BFT05. Motion passes 5-0.
PWTLP #264: Proposed Act authorizing the County to issue up to $500,000 in bonds to finance Capital Project BES07 – Food Storage and Distribution Warehouses.
No vote taken. The item was held for consideration at a future meeting.
PWTLP # 244: Proposed Act authorizing the County to issue up to $8,000,000 in bonds to finance Capital Project SPS04 – North Yonkers Pump Station Electrical Equipment Upgrade.
(Jenkins, Alvarado) Motion to approve funding for Capital Project SPS04. Motion passes 5-0.
PWTLP #245: Proposed Act authorizing the County to issue up to $5,000,000 in bonds to finance Capital Project SPS05 – North Yonkers Pump: Station Pump Station Upgrades.
(Jenkins, Alvarado) Motion to approve funding for Capital Project SPS05. Motion passes 5-0.
PWTLP #246: Proposed Act authorizing the County to issue up to $2,200,000 in bonds to finance Capital Project SPS01 – North Yonkers Pump Station Odor Control.
(Jenkins, Alvarado) Motion to approve funding for Capital Project SPS01. Motion passes 5-0.
PWTLP #236: Proposed Act authorizing the issuance of up to $1,100,000 in bonds for: Ashford Avenue Bridge over I-87 and Saw Mill River Parkway, Ardsley.
(Burton, Jenkins) Motion to approve financing for Ashford Avenue Bridge renovations. Motion passes 5-0.
PWTLP # 237: Proposed Act authorizing the issuance of up to $515,000 in bonds for: Pleasantville Road over Pocantico River, Briarcliff Manor.
(Burton, Swanson) Motion to approve funding for Pleasantville Road Bridge. Motion passes 5-0.
On a motion by Legislator Swanson, seconded by Legislator Myers, the Committee on Public Works, Transportation, Labor, & Parks adjourned at 4:45 p.m.
