(Burrows, Young) Move to approve the minutes of April 2, 2007.
Change to correct the spelling of Puccillo’s name.
Motion approved 7-0.
RECEIVE AND FILE
(Bronz,Oros) move to receive and file items 54, 83, 84, & 92.
Motion approved 7-0.
HOME RULE MESSAGE FOR AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY TO LEASE PARKLANDS
(Abinanti, Oros) Move to request the New York State Legislature enact Senate Bill S4478/ Assembly Bill A7400 authorizing the county of Westchester to lease certain parklands, in relation to the lease of such parklands.
Motion approved 7-0.
REGULATIONS FOR THE SALE OF LAWN FERTILIZER
(Abinanti, Oros) Move for public hearing only, a local law establishing regulations for lawn fertilizer application and sale within Westchester County.
(Abinanti, Pinto) move to amend section 863.1302 by changing subsection (2) which currently reads no lawn fertilizer shall be applied, to read no person shall apply lawn fertilizer when the ground is frozen.
Motion to amend approved 7-0.
(Rogowsky, Abinanti) move to amend section 863.1304 by striking “or merchant” in subsections (1), (2) and (3).
Motion to amend approved 7-0.
Main Motion approved for public hearing only 8-0.
Licensing Septage Collectors
(Abinanti, Oros) move for public hearing only, a local law with respect to the licensing of persons engaged in the business of evacuating, removing, collecting, or transporting septage as septage collectors.
Motion approved 6-0.
(Rogowsky, Myers) Move to adjourn the Committee on Legislation. Motion passed 6-0
