With a quorum present, the Committee on Budget & Appropriations (B&A) was called to order at 10:20 a.m. With a quorum present, the Committee on Housing, Planning & Government Operations (HPGO) was called to order at 10:55 a.m.
The following items were discussed and/or voted on:
32. A13/C132 (BPL01): IMA with Yonkers re: Ashburton Avenue Apts. HIF capital project and related $3,190,000 Bond Act.
Budget Chair Kaplowitz disclosed that the attorney for the seller was a client of his and asked the County Attorney’s Office if recusal was necessary. The Assistant County Attorney determined that disclosure was sufficient.
B&A - Motion: Alvarado; Second: Spreckman; approved 8-0.
HPGO - Motion: Pinto; Second: Spreckman; approved 4-0.
33. A17/C133 (BPL01): IMA with Yonkers re: Croton Heights HIF capital project and related $1,010,000 Bond Act.
Legislators Rogowsky & Abinanti requested that pro forma (numbers for
building maintenance, list of principals, etc.) be provided to the members for
A13 & A17 prior to the Board meetings and for all housing items submitted to
the committee from this point forward.
B&A - Motion: Alvarado; Second: Spreckman; approved 8-0. HPGO - Motion: Pinto; Second: Spreckman; approved 4-0.
With no further business to discuss, Chair Kaplowitz made a motion to adjourn B&A. Seconded by Legislator Abinanti, the committee adjourned at 11:25 a.m.
With no further business to discuss, Chair Bronz made a motion to adjourn HPGO. Seconded by Legislator Burton, the committee adjourned at 11:25 a.m.
