Chairwoman Myers called the meeting to order at 12:15 p.m.
Levi Bronde of the Falun Dafa Information Center gave a power point presentation on the effects of organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners in China.
The Committee discussed passing a resolution requesting that action be taken. Legislator Burton requested that a letter be written in lieu of a resolution regarding organ harvesting in China. Legislator Bronz agreed. Legislator Burton requested that research be done on the World Medical Association in deciding on where to send the letter. Jeanne Mitchell agreed to provide information for the letter.
Moved by Legislator Jenkins and seconded by Legislator Burton the minutes of May 8, 2007 passed with a vote of 4-0.

Moved by Legislator Jenkins and seconded by Legislator Burton the minutes of May 22, 2007 passed with a vote of 4-0.
Moved by Legislator Jenkins and seconded by Legislator Burton the minutes of May 29, 2007 passed with a vote of 4-0.
Moved by Legislator Bronz and seconded by Legislator Jenkins agenda item #49 was received and filed with a vote of 4-0.
Moved by Legislator Bronz and seconded by Legislator Burton agenda item #54 was received and filed with a vote of 4-0.
Moved by Legislator Burton and seconded by Legislator Bronz the Committee on Families, Health and Human Services adjourned at 1:05 p.m.
