MINUTES
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 25, 2007, AT 4:00 P.M.

Mrs. Swanson called the meeting to order at 4:05 p.m.
APPOINTMENTS
CITIZENS CONSUMER ADVISORY BOARD
John Fix: A resident of Eastchester, New York and has been appointed by the County Executive as the Area 2 Representative consumer/business owner member) for a term to expire on December 31, 2008. He is the Owner and Manager of Cornell’s True Value Hardware Store in Eastchester since 1974 with 50 employees. He is a board member for Family & Community Services in Eastchester and a Vestry Member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Eastchester.
On the motion of Legislator Pinto, seconded by Legislator Bronz, the appointment is hereby approved by a 4-0 vote.
WOMAN’S ADVISORY BOARD:
Lindley Thomasset: Is a resident of Bedford, New York and has been appointed by the County Executive as a Legislative District 2 Representative member, for a term to expire on December 31, 2008. Ms. Thomasset attended one meeting and finds the Board very interesting and enjoys taking an active role in recreation. She is a member of numerous women’s clubs such as the Bedford Hills Women’s Club, the BHWC Educational & Charitable Fund Committee, Junior League of Northern Westchester, Woman-to-Woman, Hudson Bells Women’s Chorus and the Sierra Club.
On the motion of Legislator Swanson, seconded by Legislator Bronz, the appointment is hereby approved by a 4-0 vote.
HISPANIC ADVISORY BOARD:
Jorge Mejia: A resident of White Plains, New York, was appointed by the County Executive as a member, for a term to expire on December 31, 2008. Mr. Mejia has an extensive career in banking and is currently the Senior Mortgage Executive at JP Morgan Chase Bank, and he represents the Hispanic community and very involved with community services.
On the motion of Legislator Bronz, seconded by Legislator Jenkins, the appointment is hereby approved by a 4-0 vote.
REAPPOINTMENTS:
The following reappointments were approved and moved on the motion of Legislator Pinto, seconded by Legislator Bronz, by a 4-0 vote:
Donna Marino, Esq.: Board of Ethics;
Virginia Susman, M.D.: Community Services Board;
Anita Delgado; Piero Olcese: Hispanic Advisory Board;
Daniel Baskerville; Jesse Crell, P.E.: Refuse Disposal District #1;
Karen Blumenthal: Youth Board;
RENT GUIDELINES BOARD:
Mrs. Swanson announced that all current members of the RGB are willing to renew their terms. Several questions were raised regarding termination of members and reconsideration to the Tenant’s positions. Mrs. Swanson will call the NYS Division of Housing for protocol and report back to committee.
With no other business to discuss, the meeting adjourned at 5:00 p.m.
