MINUTES:
Monday, March 1, 2005; 10:00 a.m.
The regular meeting of the Committee on Technology was called to order at 10:20 a.m. on March 1, 2005, jointly with the Committee on Budget & Appropriations.
MEMBERS: Chair: Ursula LaMotte. Members: Vito J. Pinto. Staff: Emilia Vita. Guests: Dr. Norman Jacknis, Chief Information Officer, and Staff members-CEO.
MINUTES:
The minutes of March 8, 2004; June 21, 2004; and October 18, 2004 were unanimously approved as distributed. Motion carried 2-0.
DISCUSSION:
The Committees on Technology and Budget met jointly to discuss the following Bond Acts:
Bond Act to finance County-Wide Map Update (BIT13).
Dr. Norm Jacknis explained the bond act is needed to continue the County-Wide Base Map Update (BIT13) in order to maintain accurate and proper information used for various county departments and local municipalities.

The Committee on Technology approved this bond act by a 2-0 vote.
The Committee on Technology adjourned their portion of the meeting on the motion of Legislator LaMotte, seconded by Legislator Pinto.
