TOPIC: Organizational Meeting
DISCUSSION:
Chair Abinanti called the meeting to order at 5:35pm.
Chair Abinanti noted that this is the first meeting of this new committee, then proceeded to recommend a quorum of two (2) to meet and a quorum of two (2) to vote. Legislator Oros made a motion to approve both quorum requirements, seconded by Chair Abinanti, all in favor – aye (both items pass 2–0). Chair Abinanti advised the committee members that this committee will meet at the time of the Environment Committee (Monday’s at 3pm) – in place of the Environment Committee – approximately once a month.
Chair Abinanti then asked the members to review the proposed “Committee Overview” and asked if there were any questions or comments. Being none, Legislator Oros made a motion to adopt the Committee Overview (objectives and goals), seconded by Chair Abinanti, all in favor – aye (item passes 2-0).
At 5:48pm, a motion to adjourn was made by Chair Abinanti, seconded by Legislator Oros. All in favor – aye.
