ON THE MOTION OF LEGISLATOR PINTO, SECONDED BY LEGISLATOR OROS, THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED ON JUNE 15, 2004. ALL IN FAVOR – AYE – 3-0.

ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION:
SNR75 – Bond Act authorizing the issuance of $1,340,000 in bonds to rehabilitate pump stations for the New Rochelle Sanitary Sewer. District (03/08/04 – Also referred to B&A; SIGNED OUT BY B&A ON 03/29/04}
Motion by Leg. Pinto. Second by Leg. Oros. All those in favor – Aye – Carried 3-0.
SNR15 – Bond Act authorizing the issuance of $210,000 to finance New Rochelle Sewer District Pump Station monitoring and alarms. (03/08/04 – Also referred to B&A; SIGNED OUT BY B&A on 03/29/04}
Bob Matarazzo stated that this is the last part of the design stage and will be going out for biding in a couple of months. The entire cost will be around $600,000 for design and construction.
Motion by Leg. Pinto. Second by Leg. Oros. All those in favor – Aye – Carried 3-0.
SH001 – Bond Act authorizing the issuance of $1,200,000 in bonds to finance the Hutchinson Pump Station Stream Bank Stabilization project. (03/08/04 – Also referred to B&A; SIGNED OUT BY B&A on 03/29/04}
Motion by Leg. Pinto. Second by Leg. Oros. All those in favor – Aye – Carried 3-0.
4. COUNTY EXECUTIVE: Refuse Disposal District No. 1: Act amending the District report authorizing the reallocation of approved expenditures among seven (7) districts. (03/22/04 – Also referred to B&A) {SIGNED OUT of B&A ON 04/12/04}
Motion by Leg. Pinto. Second by Leg. Oros. All those in favor – Aye – Carried 3-0.
T0038 – Bond Act authorizing the issuance of $150,000 in bonds to finance the Diesel Retrofit Program (03/22/04 – Also referred to B&A) {SIGNED OUT BY B&A on 04/12/04}
Comm. Salley stated that this program, which is the second part, will allow the County to retrofit 177 vehicles with particular traps and filters. It will provide a second level of benefit to trap pollutants and particular matter for environmental purposes.
Motion by Leg. Pinto. Second by Leg. Oros. All those in favor – Aye – Carried 3-0.
10. HON. MICHAEL KAPLOWITZ: Sewer District Modification: Request from the Town of New Castle to remove 555 certain parcels from the Saw Mill Valley Sanitary Sewer District. (02/09/04) (Also Referred to B&A)
Motion by Leg. Pinto to forward to Administration for processing. Second by Leg. Oros. All those in favor – Aye – Carried 3-0.
Chairman Young stated that Leg. Bernice Spreckman has resigned from the Committee on Public Works through a letter to Chairman Ryan. (Letter filed)
Chairman Young made a motion to adjourn at 10:30 AM; Moved by Leg. Oros. Second by Leg. Pinto. All those in Favor – Aye – Carried 3-0.
