MINUTES: FEBRUARY 4, 2004

MEMBERS: Chair: Marty Rogowsky; Legislators: Bronz, Latimer, Pinto, Stewart-Cousins

The meeting was called to order at 11:15 a.m.

2004 Joint State Legislative Package

Legislator Rogowsky stated that he had reached out the Members of our State Delegation and also organizations such as the League of Women Voters and the League of Conservation Voters asking if they would like the Board to consider any specific proposals for inclusion into the ‘Package’.

Karen Pasquale continued to brief the members on the CE’s proposals item by item. There were brief discussions on each item.

Legislator Rogowsky requested an opinion from the County Attorney’s office regarding those who are found to falsely report a suspected case of child abuse. There was a brief discussion.

Mrs. Pasquale continued.

Legislator Rogowsky requested that the Members come prepared Monday, February 9, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. to begin prioritizing the items.

MINUTES

Legislator Latimer made a motion to approve the minutes of January 26, 2004 and it was seconded by Legislator Pinto. The vote was 5-0.

On motion of Legislator Pinto, seconded by Legislator Stewart-Cousins the meeting was adjourned at 12:12 p.m.
