The regular meeting of the Committee on County Officers & Departments was called to
order at 4:00 p.m.
MINUTES:
The minutes of February 16, 2005, were unanimously approved as distributed. Motion carried 3-0.
RE-APPOINTMENTS:
COUNTY AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD:
Robert A. Dashow - a resident of Rye Brook, New York, is reappointed for a term to expire on December 31, 2007.
Honorable Peter DeMilio – a resident of Valhalla, New York, is reappointed as the Town of Mt. Pleasant representative member, with a term to expire on December 31, 2007.
Robert F. Gilbert – a resident of Armonk, New York, is reappointed as the Town of New Castle representative member, for a term to expire on December 31, 2007.
Edward M. Berman – a resident of Bedford, New York, is reappointed, for a term to expire on December 31, 2007.
REFUSE DISPOSAL DISTRICT NO.1 ADVISORY BOARD:
Peter Ligouri – a resident of Greenburgh, New York, is reappointed as the Town representative member for a term to expire on December 31, 2006.
All reappointments were unanimously approved. Motion carried 3-0.

III.A. Joseph Sakala – Ethics Waiver Request
SPECIAL ITEM:
IV. A: (3/9/05): Correspondence submitted to the Chair of the committee from Legislator Rogowsky requesting the COD Committee to begin discussions of revising the make-up of the County Plumbers licensing board. Mr. Pinto will schedule a date for discussion.
Mr. Pinto also mentioned that the Chairman of the Board requested an increase of members of the Youth Board. Mr. Pinto will contact Marlene Furtick to summit additional names.
The committee will meet on Monday, March 28th with the Board of Elections Commissioners to discuss the voting canvas and requirements of election Inspectors.
With no other business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 4:45 p.m.
