The meeting convened at 4:45 pm
Community Services Board
On the motion of Legislator Latimer, seconded by Legislator Astorino, the motion to approve the appointment of Carolyn S. Hedlund for the term to expire 12/31/07 was approved (3-0).
Domestic Violence Council
Reappointment of Camille Murphy to the Domestic Violence Council was approved (3-0).
Laboratories and Research Board Managers
On the motion of Legislator Latimer, seconded by Legislator Astorino, the motion to approve the appointment of John J. Schesny to the Laboratories and Research Board Managers with the term to expire 12/31/08 was approved (3-0).
On the motion of Legislator Latimer, seconded by Legislator Astorino, the motion to approve the reappointment of Giulio Cavallo to the Laboratories and Research Board Managers with the term to expire 12/31/08 was approved (3-0).
Legislator Latimer made a suggestion to take all of the reappointments together. The suggestion was approved.
On the motion of Legislator Latimer, seconded by Legislator Astorino, the reappointment of the following induviduals were approved (3-0)
Police Advisory Board
Reappointment of Giulio Cavallo (7/12/04)
Council for Seniors:
Reappointment of Jim Cronk (7/12/04)
Reappointment of Gerry Griffiths (7/12/04)
Reappointment of Arthur Stampleman (7/12/04)
Reappointment of Lorenzo P. Brown (7/12/04)
Women’s Advisory Board
Reappointment of Carla D. Glassman
Soil and Water Conservation Board
On the motion of Legislator Latimer, seconded by Legislator Astorino, the motion to approve the appointment of Marc S. Godick was approved (3-0)
40.) Youth Board
On the motion of Legislator Latimer, seconded by Legislator Astorino, the motion to approve the appointment of Karen Blumenthal was approved (3-0)
Legislator Pinto suggested that the Committee review the resumes of the following individuals on the agenda being considered and approved barring any objections or concerns the committee may have. There being no objections or questions the committee acted on the following individuals.
On the motion of Legislator Latimer, seconded by legislator Astorino, the motion to approve the appointment of Virginia Lehmann Sussman to the Community Services Board was approved (3-0).
On the motion of Legislator Latimer, seconded by Legislator Astorino, the motion to approve the appointment of Salvatore Lagonia to the Board was approved (3-0)
