White Plains, NY —  The Westchester County Board of Legislators is throwing its support behind a proposal in Washington to create a National Infrastructure Bank.

White Plains, NY — The Westchester County Board of Legislators is formally voicing its opposition to a proposal that would turn a little used power plant on the banks of the Hudson into a fully-operational fossil fuel power plant operating day in, day out, year round.

A court-appointed monitor has found that Westchester has "substantially met its obligations" under a 2009 federal court settlement to build and promote more fair and affordable housing across a range of income levels throughout the County.
