White Plains, NY - The Westchester County Board of Legislators yesterday passed a bond act in the amount of $990,000 to rehabilitate West Lake Drive, County Road 144, in the Town of Mount Pleasant. At the urging of Legislator Michael Smith (R-Mount Pleasant), the bond act was reintroduced to the Board earlier this year after it was stalled in a subcommittee backlog during the prior legislative term. White Plains, NY – Democratic Caucus members of the Westchester County Board of Legislators (BOL) questioned why one of the County’s subsidized child care programs, known as Title XX, was running at only one-third of the enrollment projected in 2014 Budget.
