Westchester County Board of Legislators Vote to Approve FY 2012 County Budget
Democratic Leadership will present press briefing prior to budget vote
The Westchester County Board of Legislators will vote to approve the FY 2012 County Budget on THURSDAY, DECEMBER 8TH at 1:00pm. Leadership of the Democratic Majority will hold a press briefing with reporters, prior to the vote at 11:00am, to present their budget priorities within the proposed FY2012 county budget.
Through an open, transparent process that welcomed input from Westchester residents, county employees and business owners, Democrats remained committed to a balanced budget with a 0% tax increase to taxpayers and continuing responsible fiscal policies to protect the County’s Triple A bond rating while preserving essential investments, critical infrastructure and maintaining the need for public health, safety and environment.
