Capital Projects is a sub-committee of the Budget & Appropriations Committee. Its responsibility is to conduct in depth examination of capital projects and bond acts. The sponsoring department and interested parties appear before the sub-committee to explain the capital project’s request for legislation, respond to pertinent questions, and to provide relevant information requested by the sub-committee. Upon approval of the sub-committee, the legislation is placed on the Budget & Appropriations Committee agenda.
